  13. Dear sirs
  14. I have installed TeX in a SPARCstation, using the default path hierarchy
  15. that was defined in the distribution files. It works.
  16. I also tried to install dvips, using the same path hierarchy, which puts .pro
  17. files at /usr/local/lib/texmf/dvips, as you can see:

  46. The installation seemed fine, no error messages appeared, and things went to
  47. where they were supposed to go. BUT, when I try to run dvips, I get the result:

  50. Got a new papersize
  51. This is dvipsk 5.58a Copyright 1986, 1994 Radical Eye Software
  52. dvips: ! Couldn't find header file texc.pro

  54. By the way, about the message on papersize, I changed config.ps to make a4 
  55. the default.
  56. Could you please tell me something about what is going wrong?? Why doesn't
  57. dvips work? It should be able to find the file it says it can't find.
